It's to do with the common miss-diagnosis garages make for extra work

got to say....Head Gasket Trouble did make me laugh...My first car was an old 55s punto and i think the head gasket went three times in the life of the car!!!

since it's been a day, and all the good ones appear to of been said, i think i remember hgt standing for homologated grand touring apparently.

bottom end trouble that's b.e.t buy the way before anyone tells me it's not hgt normally folow a cam belt failure bearing shells get stamped flat as pistons hit valves or atleast that was the case with ma dads alfy with the same engine and a few others we have done have had new valves hiding inside

otherwise they love to go past 7 regular as clockwork
