Hi there,
Can anyone give me any advice for removing my dash as I need to fit a new heater matrix. I had a quick look tonight and from what I can see I need to remove EVERYTHING to be able to remove the dash (Inc. steering wheel, cd player.):(
Is there another way around it or is that the only way?
I have a punto mk1 60s 5door

Thanks

on the Mk 1 60 (your model)only way is to remove everything as you have already said, although steering column is just a removal of top bracket. If you dont already have one suggest a haynes manual as it will tell you where all the hidden bolts are (and there are several)
take your time its not a hard job just fiddly and find someone to help if you can, would think about 4-6 hours depending on how mechanical you are

Steering wheel will be one of the harder bits then but stilleasy as I have a boss kit and aftermarket steeringwheel.
Lets hope for some good weather tomorrow, and should be getting new heater matrix tomorrow, if all goes well il post the website I ordered from as it was very cheap compared to other sites.
Regards
