Hi all. My punto 105 has dropped it's idling revs to 700 or less and knocking sound in engine bay. Driving along through gears etc car is fine and no power loss. Any ideas. May have posted this twice by mistake. Apologies if so Cheers

It was multi air failure and is going to cost £1300 to fix. Full fiat service history only selenia mutiair oil ever used. Very annoyed

Car us 5 yrs old. My dealers are brilliant so will do there best. I've owned more than 22 fiat's since 1996 but this is a joke. What's to say the unit won't fail again. This is the issue

Just to bear in mind anyone with a punto multiair especially turbo. It will go. Multiar unit is over 600 quid just for part. My car has had spotless service history. I don't know if the part has been modified because alfa had huge problem with them. Good idea ,bad design. Takes 2 hours plus to get it out!

cost £1250 including timing belt and water pump. Part was £556 excluding vat. Was not easy to diagnose as no warning lights or fault codes, some possible damage to camshaft also so all had to come out. Fiat claim there has never been a problem with multiair units which is ****e.
