I have just put £35 of petrol in the tank.

While driving I have been getting a wild variation of the estimated mileage the fuel will do for me from between 211 and 303 miles.

Is this likely because the evo is new to me and things have recently been reset or is it always so varied?

There are loads of varying factors, and a sudden change in driving style is a massive one. The only time it'll be accurate is if you sit at a steady speed for a while, and then remain at that speed on the flat until you run out of fuel. It's only a very rough guide tbh

Previously I was driving a 2ltr Scenic, £30 would last the week for to & from work with perhaps an extra local trip.

I have been using the Fiat all week on this £35 and still had 1/2 a tank (ish) after work and have since done many more trips so I recon it would do for 2 weeks so am impressed.
