I had to swap out the engine on my Panda. After putting it all back together I had two cables that I can't find homes for.

One of them comes on the battery (see image) but I'm not sure what it connects to.

Secondly, there is another clip/plug behind the engine which looks pretty dirty like it was never plugged in. Is is one of the clips with the bright yellow rubber seal and three pin holes on the end. I've read that some cars have spare cables due to sharing looms with different models.

My car is a 2004 1.2 Dynamic.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This is the offending cable. The car won't actually start and the fuel pump relay just ticks away and I have a battery light on. Does anyone know where that cable should be connected to?

Eventually figured it out. It went into the metal base where the two very large connectors go, the ones with the lever arm clamps on. Car now runs, hurray!

Weirdly enough it did start once previously without that cable being connected but died about 15 seconds later.

Good on ya. Would you believe I only replaced that very cable today, well not all of it, just the connection to the battery..........................it had seen better days.
