Just bought a little mini-scale model of my Panda. Same colour and all from eBay, looks like a genuine collectors item.

Check out them Seller 'Little Wheels' as I saw a few other Panda models going on other colours as well as other models like the Stilo.

I've always wanted a little mini model to fix to my dash over the radio facing forward to keep in my car and then when the time comes stick it on the shelf to keep a relic of that car! Seems like a nice tradition of mine!

Cost £10 on eBay plus £4 shipping.

Probably won't get here until January but hey, late present to myself!

If any of you have ever sought a cheap Panda model that's finally the place to get it as I've looked for months and not found any this cheap hence why I'm sharing this.

I like your approach. I decided that I should have a mini model of all my cars when I got my first car back in 1994. Here's both the cars I've owned over the last 21 years! :ROFLMAO:

No a panda, but I've been collecting models of cars I've owned for the last year or so, Saab, ford, my golf cab and black grande, he one I am most happy about is an almost identical to my own mk2b punto I had to get from an eBay seller in Italy.

The lotus race car at the top is the 1997 GT1 Elise my dad built. While working at the lotus GT team back in the 90's

Now for some alloys?

On the model or the real car?

I was considering it but for the £200 they'd cost I was thinking on getting the windows darkened and maybe some average speakers fitted and a set of new Fiat wheel trims (original ones) shown on the model. Reason being it'll match! One of the reasons I rushed to buy this when I saw it on eBay because it's a replica of my Dynamic Panda :D

Wouldn't mind a set of Panda alloys, the genuine ones right enough! But they don't come cheap unless you buy used!

@SB Darkened windows are rally awful for driving at night. You have to change your focus /squint when looking from front to side .( I took the film straight off any car I ever got with them- blade , hairdryer , lots of elbow grease and window polish)

@ Wee Smurf -Two cars over such a long time ?! Id say I've had at least twenty ! I also started driving in 1994 and my Mrs arrived over to Ireland from England in 1999 in a Polo . ( coupe not square back /'hearse')

A model of each car I've owned could get pricey ! I've had Panda diesel a long time now though , over four years .Had 2007 (new!) Aygo over three years before that with 6 months in between in a 100hp and one or two months in a 1998 Punto Sporting that became a three wheeler !!!:-(

I lost the scale model of my first car years ago. Those Aston Martin DB5s are just so hard to find nowadays, especially as the model was an exact replica of my own car, right down to the extending over-riders, front machine guns and rear bullet proof shield.

Haha! When I lived in my old flat, one of my neighbours always referred to my Polo as 'The Hearse'. A very basic car - no power steering.

Perhaps I should stop naming my cars as they become part of the family and makes it more difficult to part with.

@SB - I'd agree about the darkening of windows. I have a full set of custom window blinds for mine. They cover all the rear windows of the car (6 pieces). I prefer using these as my drive to and from work in the winter is in the dark and they're easily removed. Husband copied me and got a set for his Accord which he never removes. I find that parking that in a dark carpark at night isn't great when you can't see out the back windows.

Would these fit the Panda well? Seems like it could be cheaper too perhaps. Will look into it! :D

They're custom fit. There should be some pics of mine on here somewhere. I remember taking some pics of the car with them in a few years ago. I bought mine on ebay but had to get them delivered to an English address as they were going to charge £30 delivery otherwise.

Finally found a means to get it to stick.

Stuck the model onto a small foam insert stripped from a box, superglued just a dot.

Then superglued the foam to the dash once I decided on the orientation. (it's sideways).

For reference, I used "Hard as Nails - Superglue" which worked.

Also got some on the dash which i doubt will ever look as good :(

Just an update to the thread :D
