Almost exactly a year ago I caused an accident which was my fault (unfortunately). My Tesco insurance paid up extremely quickly and as I had zero excess, nothing at all changed for me. I think the cover went up something like £25 for the 5 months remaining I had with them.
It came to renewal time, and this time with no no-claims, my yearly cost went up a whopping £50, far less than I was expecting.
So no complaints about insurance from me

You wouldn't have had to pay an excess even if you did have one unless you were claiming for damage to your vehicle under your policy anyway
So, some Audi driving bell*** pulled out infront of me. I had the choice of smash into him, or run into the curb at about 40ish.... I chose the curb and it resulted in a ruined alloy and tyre. As you can imagine, the other guy didn't even stop, never mind leave his details.
Anyway, long story short, I now have a bill for £500 for a new alloy and tyre. I'm unbelievably p*ssed off and I thought I'd just vent on here.
Any sympathy greatly appreciated, it's been a genuinely terrible day
Matt I'm really sorry to hear that, yours was a beauty! Funny thing I had a Golf GTI pull out on me yesterday..... The Panda needs more "get out of my way" you know!

The car's fixed now, thankfully. I'm just awaiting the credit card bill at the end of the month..yay.
I know what you mean, we need black 1st Gen. BMW X5s with blacked out windows, preferably on Eastern European plates. I get the feeling no one would fancy messing with it
