The silver one's front bumper looks a different colour. Ask him why it looks that way. You need to check behind the bumper to ensure that the reinforcement is not bent, can be seen down past the grille. If bent may have stressed the radiator, but little else to worry about unless a big bump.

its is staffordshire ???? other was yorkshire
lot more miles on it. I paid half that for 54plate 32k FULL service history
ok going to open a HUGE can of worms with this one but is AGE better than MILEAGE whats worse high mileage low age or low age high mileage

personaly i feel low mileage is better cos that is what seems to Kill cars - wear out parts etc, the other arguments are why so little mileage (has it been stood in a repair yard 12 months awaiting repair ---- has it been stood rotting in someones driveway ) no definative answer but my personal choice was lower mileage

Low age high mileage is better. Higher mileage brings wear and tear, but everything keeps working. Low mileage, means low usage, lots of stuff will try to seize up.

Most Pandas are bought by the sort of people who do low miles, except perhaps the 100hp! Buy on overall condition.

Is it though? I see more cars fail due to little use, things seizing, rubber seals perishing, sitting damp and not doing decent enou journeys to heat the car throu thoroughly.

Personally I'd always go for the higher mileage cheaper car, even taking into account wear and tear they often work out the better bargain in the long run from personally experience. But it's each to their own I suppose. If someone's doing decent mileage in a car and owned it for a while also, at least you know it should be relatively fault free (in theiory).

LIKE I said CAN OF WORMS, Ideally Low mileage low age but that is also reflected in the price, if you have a budget you dont normaly get a 10 plate with 8k miles for under 5k ??.
when i bought mine could have got a 07 plate for same price but had 103k on clock as was replacing a punto with 75k on didnt feel spending best part of £2000 just for 5 years younger but higher mileage was worth it. parts wear out more by use than rot more mileage means more pot holes more speed bumps and more salt sprayed underneath. i think the most important is service history, if its been serviced as it should then been looked after, if service history missing probably not. would you buy a corsa with lowered springs and boom exhaust ? as one careful owner ?

I have asked if its been in any accident we see what he says

what about this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-FIAT-PANDA-1-2-Eleganza-/261301805241?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cd6cd20b9

do you want me to be blunt, first look at it I would have said BUY IT but thats only as same colour as mine and i love the colour, BUT do you want to pay 2500 for a car thats done 67k, other can of worms its got climate control, Call me a control freak but i like things simple, cables and levers to control heater ( it it all goes Tits up can leave it in defrost all winter lol_)
go back to original one seems a lot better value

When i first started looking i was looking to get the most i could for my money so low mileage but as new as possible.
Not sure of 1.1 engine might be a bit under powered after we being used to a 1.6 engine.

If anyone is in the area could call and have a quick look that would be great

Personal choice again but i was told 1.1 under powered but so many people says its not, not much advatage ref MPG etc . you will notice difference down to 1.2 but advantage of the knowledge that if timing belt goes no damage is well worth it
unless you want to buy cheaper and spend £300 on a belt fitted at fiat dealer

The 1.2 hasn't much more power tbh so you may find that the case even with the 1.2. The 1.1 is much more fun and revvey IMO though :)

That 2007 Eleganza is Creame of the crop IMO, reasonable mileage for age and looks in good condition. It's more car for your money as it is than the first one will ever be IMO.

Dealers answer to my question of any Accidents

No Accidents, And is hpi clear,
This car is a lovely example, you will not be disapointed.

I'd ask them how they can be sure its defo not been in any accidents. Be interesting to see their response. The front bumper is defo not the same shade of colour as the rest of the car imo.

I have asked so will update when i get an answer

As said above, 1.1 is a bit more revvy and is lively around town. 1.2 offers a little more power, not so revvy, but will work better if you often carry more than two of you, or are in a hilly area. Will be a lot different than a 1.6, but relax, stop competing and enjoy the journey instead. Removes any anxiety of looking for that quick overtake. Look at the scenery instead and arrive calmer.

If your budget will stretch just a little, you might go for the later 1.2 dynamic eco.

You'll get A/C as standard and £30 RFL - and you might just get a few more mpg as well.

A decent 3yr old example should be findable for under £4k.

Paying over £3k for a 5yr old 1.2 Panda is madness. Compare the value in this, for example.
