Hi guys,

I picked up my parents 2004 1.2 eleganza to fix and sell for them.

Only major problem is the clutch pedal gets stuck to the floor and won't release till forced.

My main idea is there is a problem somewhere in the hydraulic system, the master fluid is full. Where is the slave cylinder?

And anything else to check?

common fault, mine used to do it, crap slave cylinders, its located just under the battery tray bolted to top of gearbox, you can see it and best way to sort is pull rubber boot off the front and squirt loads of wd40 in it and while you are there squirt a load on the pivot to the clutch lever (arm the slave cylinder pushes) after you operate a few times should be ok for a while, new ones are about £85 but you can get a good second hand one for £15 - 25 , also fits 2008 ford KA
