It's absolutely top money for the year but with the low mileage & condition it might just be worth considering.

What are your concerns about this car?

Dealer said it was on sale behalf of owner and not their own stock. Had a phone call saying the advertised price has been reduced. Just wondered if the owner was on here to get cars history etc. I found out it has been through Evans Halshaw and another dealer up north before that just by googling!
I test drove another 100HP at the dealership and didn't pay any attention to this car at the time.

I suppose you were the guy that Steve said had driven the grey one?

I left a deposit on the grey one yesterday and I'm picking it up on Saturday (subject to everything going fine with the sale of my car).

Yeah, I saw Jonathan though, he rang me this morning telling me the grey had sold on his day off.

The car had a nasty dent in the passenger rear door and sill, the drivers door edge was bent in too, I would go over every panel carefully as it was badly polished and looked a mess when I drove it. Apparently the last owner was a lady in her 50-60's :)

I'm going this afternoon to test drive the black now my choice has been narrowed :p

The car was in the body shop yesterday so hopefully it should be looking a bit tidier now.

It had the cambelt service done yesterday as well.

I'll make a thread once I have picked it up.

Did you note what tyres it had on btw? They couldn't check yesterday when I rang.

Good luck with your test drive btw, I was going to buy that one if the grey wasn't available!

The grey looks good now it's been titivated, though you are going to want some AutoGlym bumper gel for that black trim, it's full of polish still

I think the tyres are a good make and all the same, can't remember what though.

Black one was very scruffy looking and not as good a drive. In fact if the grey had still been available I would have been bargaining hard!

Those less miles make a big difference.

Same money, less miles............but the dreaded words 'PRIVATE SALE'. Though it is white (the fastest colour) and like mine, has the 'roof'.....

This one is a 2009 trader sale with less miles for eth same money:

I spotted the white one myself, like the looks of it just not the private sale.

Evans Halshaw are awful, at least my last experience with them was, they took hours trying to sell you all the stuff you don't want and constantly running up and down 'to see the boss', I looked at a 500 that had obviously had front end accident damage and all they did was say it's not been an insurance claim though!

I'll keep looking for now

102 mile round trip to see one tomorrow in 'uddersfield :)

Yep - that black on in the West Riding has nice low miles. Worth a pop.

There's a couple at a car supermarket off M1 J28 (Available car co - Sutton in Ashfield) and the red one looks a beauty. Another long trek down the M1 from Huddersfield mind you

Don't forget, when you do get one and reverse it onto your drive, you'll hit the other car - the 100hp enjoys a turning circle over 1 metre more than the 1.2 cars.......

I'll keep fairly local for now, the 1.2 felt like a 4x4 on the way home all high and wallowing about today

It will be interesting to have an urban test drive tomorrow :)

Well had the test drive on the Huddersfield one, very urban with rough roads speed humps and hills. Ride was as expected but I can live with that.
Car is in excellent condition but trade in price has dropped to book minimum again.
More than I want to/have to spend but so very tempting....

Ha Ha, I am at my maximum car allowance at two unfortunately :(

The plan is to replace the Mum friendly Panda with one that's a little more - fun. (a nice bolster cushion and she'll not notice it's lower ;))

I have been seduced to the dark side of 100hp power

Get the red one from Sutton-in-Ashfield.............just tell her it's the same car but you had it serviced.
