Hi,
I'm trying to order front dampers and drop links for our '04 1.1's 80K overhaul,

Shop4parts is VERY competitive (y),

dampers are easy,

however they list 2 different "individual" drop links,

is it 1 style per side - hence not sold in PAIRS ..??,

or are there 2 different styles available

any help most welcome,
Tried a search and got no where,

There's a lot of people now looking to replace droplinks as they are now testable on the MOT, though a loose one would always be flagged before, now they check the condition of the rubber covers.

Cheap ones don't last, if the joints do, it'll be the rubber that turn to dust in no time.

They are very simple to change.
Jack up and remove the wheel. Always best to support the car safely.

Clean off the muck/rust around the threads with a wirebrush, stops you pulling the nut back off through all that muck and rust.

Most links have a flat on the shoulder of the shaft so you can slip a spanner in behind to stop the shaft turning while you undo the nut.

Some also have a allen key "hole" in the end of the shaft to hold, though if they are stiff/rusty this often chews up.

At a push you can use grips to hold the shaft through the rubbers of your old joint, though I wouldn't do this with the new ones as you'll split the rubber covers.
(Not a Panda, but you get the drift)

Refit in reverse, a dab of copperslip on the shaft/threads should make it easier next time.
They don't require massive torque when tightening the nuts. 40 Nm or so is enough.

This thread reminded me that there was another thread some time back, on drop links fouling Koni adjustable dampers on full lock, because of the angle of the drop link fixing bracket on the damper. This was never really resolved to the point where I felt confident in having a pair of links made up ready to fit the dampers. Can someone who's fitted Konis clear this up, please?
