Sounds like you might be slightly out of your depth here, as both are easy to find. But here's the answer... ('left' means left side when facing the car from the front, so the driver's side)

Plugs: remove the air filter housing. Best to remove front part first. Open it up by unclipping 2 big plastic catches, one on each side, and lifting and unhooking one on a spring at the lower left. Remove the paper element to prevent damage, and then pull large tube from the filter housing free from where it connects to front of car. Put the front part to one side. Then, remove two 10mm (spanner size) bolts holding the larger part of the filter body (air box) in place (one near front right, other at back left of the box). Carefully lift the right side of the box up, and look underneath for a rubber pipe connected to it. This pulls away from the air box and then the whole box lifts clear. Plug leads can now be seen, running across top/back of the engine from the 'ignition packs' at the right side of the engine (no distributor or old-style coil here). You will need a long plug spanner to reach down to them, especially the middle two. Take care pulling plug leads off as they are fragile where the lead enters the big rubber section on the plug. Also mind the yellow connectors for the fuel injection pipework.

Oil filter: look down between the radiator and the metal shield over the exhaust at the front of the engine. Its right at the bottom there. To access (which is done from underneath) you need to take the metal sump guard off from under the car (a substantial steel plate and mounting frame on the 4x4 -- other models have a much less substantial undertray). This is very heavy and needs to be supported during removal. With car on ground, put a trolley jack under the centre of this guard and raise the jack so it is *just* touching the plate. Now remove six bolts: two at front left and two at front right of the guard. Follow the metal plate backwards and you'll find two more bolts, one each side, near the pivot points of the suspension arms. Note that the bolts are different lengths, so keep them separate. Once all bolts out, lower the jack slightly and the tray will come down. Wheel the jack out to the front of the car, holding the jack handle with one hand and the metal tray with the other. Place to one side. You can now access the drain plug (needs a 12mm Allen key that fits your socket set). Once drained, the filter can be unscrewed. A filter wrench helps, but there's not a lot of room. Once all done (new filter in, drain plug back), wheel the sump guard back under the car using the trolley jack. Loosely replace all six bolts (just the first couple of turns on the thread), but don't tighten until all six are in, otherwise it's tricky to line all the holes up. (Suggest putting copper grease on the bolt threads to make subsequent removal easier). Tighten fully then remove the jack.

The oil filler is not always obvious. This is a black square rubber plug on top left of engine, with Olio Fiat written on it. It pulls straight up, but is prone to getting stuck.

Hope this helps...
