Have just acquired a 58 plate eleganza but steering wheel and gear knob are plastic and feel cheap,Fiat offer a keather wheel/knob as an option when ordering a new car, can these be retro fitted? presume this will be an (expensive) dealer job?? Any thoughts welcome

Yes, anything can be retrofitted, including these parts. If you can find an inexpensive dealer job then do please share......mine offers an under bonnet "fluids check" for £15. Hmmm, what a bargain. Removing the steering wheel is tricky though well documented on here, try the search function.

Spoke to my local dealer who said not listed anymore apparently some accessories limited as new model imminent! anyone know any different?

Or..you could fit a cover, five minute job and no faffing with airbags involved....

If just checked my fiat options brochure. Leather steering wheel and gear knob set listed at £234.53. Price will probably have changed but if it is still available it's part Number 50900971. Give the parts dept a call and quote that number. That'll defiantly confirm if it's available or not, as a lot of the time it's just last deal who cba to search the system
