I've done a quick search but not really found the answer (other than my own post along similar lines a while back - https://www.fiatforum.com/panda/194102-red-colour.html?p=2085676)
My 2005 4x4 is bright (Tiziano) Red, but like all red cars do in time, is now slowly fading. The paintwork has been polished every now and again (Autoglym or Mer at various times) , so is not 'dull', but the colour is not as strong as it was (the difference now shows in the door 'shuts' etc).
Before I waste effort with colour restorer etc, does anyone know if this paint (which was an extra cost option to the original owner) has a clear lacquer coat (which would make using colour restorer rather pointless), and if so, what other 'tricks' are available to restore the red.
(Not really too fussed, as it is normally covered in Herts byway crud anyway -- just curious really)
Pete
