Fitted my clear indicator bulb (flashes orange when on) the original one is at the top. Trouble is i'm not sure if i like the look of them or not  what do toy guys think??

Most people wouldn't give them a second look, and when i say that, that's exactly what they do at junctions and mini roundabouts (n)
Depends on the quality of them though to be fair, i have found this on another vehicle but, you will not realise how bad they can be at attracting an accident until the summer or, at least on a bright sunny day, not worth the hassle of risking getting involved in an accident for the sake of the price of a pair of poxy bulbs.
Just being real, don't want to sound negative style wise as they do blend in better, but if an accident occurred, how would an insurance company view the situation  Depending on the intensity of light they give out on a bright day, if their poor, other drivers will soon let you know, as they will start getting dangerously close to you unless your already aware that the light, produced in the indicator bulbs are not efficient enough to warn other motorists you intend to turn left or right.
If this happens like it did to me, you will soon put the old ones back, besides, LED's / SMD's are the way forward from conventional bulbs, cheap & will outlive the car probably (y)

Mine don't have the blue tint to the chrome, (are solid chrome look) and if anything are brighter than "normal" orange bulbs

Get onto your local tyre place, they can normally get them in, in a day or so.

I was over in harrogate at the GF's house. 2 places i tried didnt have them, kwik fit and national tyres. so ive ordered a new one. will just have to use space saver unless i can find a part worn to last a few days

Where's the nail? If it's in the tread then it should be repairable. Sidewall is a definite no no though.

Its about an inch in from the side. 2 places told me its too close to the edge though
Im back home now so im going to try somewhere else is the morning

Sorry but I like the blue tinted ones about as much as I like the original fried egg orange. I fitted silver front indicator and side repeater bulbs the same week I took delivery of the car from Fiat. I just couldnt stand how terrible the car looked with those horrible orange bulbs. It might be vain but the silver bulbs transformed the Pandas large front headlights massively.

I have to say I really don't see the point. 99.999% of people are not going to notice.

It certainly hasn't transformed it "massively"

Perhaps I'm just not a bulb connoisseur

And to be honest I dont care what 100% of people think. The only person who I care about that will notice is me and thats why I changed them. And yes it has transformed it "massively" maybe not to you but I am not you, I am me.

No need to get your knickers in a knot :ROFLMAO:

Finally Managed to get it washed on Saturday morning but then it's p***ed it down for the rest of the weekend so it's filthy again but still much better than it was!

The thing is, it IS the .001% of people that notice that I do take as a compliment. For me it is one of the first mods I do to over car I own, I HATE the fried egg look (unless you have an orange car). It isn't about being "a bulb connoisseur", more someone that likes a cleaner look.

Weather permitting she will be getting a complete valet, inside and out.Had "Florence" now for 2 weeks and i could'nt be happier:D,treating her to alloy wheels and a tiny spoiler in around a couple of months.I'll post a pic when i can get the hang of my new Laptop:bang:

Personally I dont care what people think and I also admit to being OCD. I just dont see the point in having really nice crystal clear lenses (and big ones on the Panda) and then having a horrible orange blob on them. Its a bit like looking at a picture of Scarlett Johansson with a big yellow zit on her face. Changing the bulbs was the very first thing I did. Then I changed the crap original wipers for better performing flat bladed ones and swapped that stupidly long radio aerial for a stubby metal one.

EXACTLY the same things I have done :slayer:

and swapped that stupidly long radio aerial for a stubby metal one.

I just bought a Panda which already had a stubby metal aerial and it was hopeless - would only pick up Classic FM and other very strong national stations. A new proper Fiat job from Shop4Parts and I now have full reception again, everywhere. Like most things in life, cars are full of compromises! Each to their own though of course.

BTW, the new Panda aerial which cost £8 from S4P is IDENTICAL to the new one I had previously bought for the Audi, yet it cost £43. Talk about pricing goods and services for the intended audience......

There's nothing better than making your car perform worse in various different ways :)
