good day, I have recently purchased a Fiat Panda 1,1 active MY08. Reading on the forum that it could be done, I purchased a trunk light & connected it with the existing wire. ALAS no light !!! (i checked the fuses as well). Has this changed with the 2008 models ? must this function be activated by a body computer ?

Also having the Panda version that activates the interior light if you open any door.. i thought only natural that the door open warning light in the cluster, should be able to function! I took apart the instrument cluster (yes the car is only 2 weeks old!), and the LED for that light seems present. yet it does not light up if you leave a door ajar.
Does anybody know how to activate this function ???
