Hey Guys,

Ok as some may know I was one of the first to get a Panda 100HP on release date and ended up getting rid after 7 months due to change of circumstances and ended up getting an HGT Punto... :D

HOWEVER, Imiss my Panda 100HP so bloody much Im hopefully within the next few weeks getting another :slayer:

Will keep you updated!

Cheers

hi,

Wasn't the HGT the top of the range Punto model? Is the 100HP that good that it'd make you scrifice the HGT for one? Wow - I'm impressed! What do you miss most about the 100HP?

Hgt is a thirsty begger being a 1.8 so no doubt its the price of fuel thats swayed him at the mo ?

Dont get me wrong, the HGT (yes top of the range) is an amazing motor it has great looks, tons of features inside, the worlds best seats (very very sporty and comfy) and it really really goessss!

However, I got rid of the 100HP to lower finance and with a new job now money isnt a problem anymore and every day I find myself doing what I did when I first saw the 100HP back in Nov 2006, looking at pictures and reviews.

I do truly miss the amount of sheer fun I had in the Panda 100HP, its light weight body being thrown around corners with such finesse and amazing grip!
The HGT is also reasonable light at 1060Kg but it does feel heavy upfront and without a doubt doesnt have as good standard suspension as the standard 100HP!

Finally I miss the looks you get, you know the ones... The odd look from certain people who must be thinking "is that a Panda?" and when you go rushing off it has the go to impress those onlookers!

:) Bring back my Panda 100HP days I say!!

Cheers

I know what you mean - been out in my 100hp today and absolutely loving it!

I thought for a laugh I'd pass by the area in Milton Keynes where the boy/girl racers hang out. When I met one at a set of traffic lights they were egging me on a bit so (already in sport mode) I floored it from the lights. They seemed absolutely stunned (I think also impressed) to see a Panda leaving them standing (y)

Indeed it is great when you see the shock in people's faces when they see what the 100HP can do! I had an encounter with a fabia vrs on the motorway over the weekend and it took a fair while to catch and overtake me which of course I knew it would. Funnily enough we both ended up in the same car park and the guy was stunned 'what's that a 1.4?' 'yeah' 'i thought i wasn't gonna catch you, what a little beast!' :D

I did this where I live, they all hang out in a B&Q/Mcdonalds car park, I needed some stuff from B&Q and a few came over asking is it really a Panda and seemed to like it after looking it over.

Still get people in petrol stations, supermarket car parks etc etc commenting "nice car" :)

Just hope they ain't being sarcastic lol

have to agree with everything you said EvilJaxx, I miss mine too and spend alot of time looking at pics and flicking through this section of the forum.
Good choice mate(y)
