I've seen this previously on SG Petch's site and thought the standard 2012 onwards Panda DRL must be LED and this is just the standard replacement but I thought I'd post this and ask if anyone knows definitely if this would be a different version that is fitted as standard:

I think the DRL is a normal filament bulb but not 100% sure.

So did I hence I'm unsure if the part they advertise is new?

I'd contact them, looks like an error to me, OEM DRLs on the Panda are Filament bulbs.

Any updates on this? Wouldn't mind changing bulbs to brighter white halogen if no LED upgrade

Just get some LED bulbs, I did that straight away with mine. Takes all of two minutes to change them

Yes, I've got those too and they're really super

However, I also bought these for my number plate:

http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/xtec-c5w-led-canbus-error-free-number-plate-bulbs/

but they do give a fault message on the dashboard display- I might add
resistors to suppress this, as it's annoying. The LEDs are very bright

They look good. How do they handle the dimming when you turn on the main lights?

Yeah I got the same number plate bulbs. Strangely, I found with only one fitted there wasn't a canbus error, but with both there was. Not got round to figuring it out yet but I've had about 4 sets of different bulbs for the number plates. :bang:

They just dim as normal, not sure how it works but I've noticed rear/brake LED bulbs work in a similar fashion.

Any of these without warning? I am still looking for a pair of leds for number plates that work without warning lights.

Unfortunately not.

Must admit I bought all 4 sets throughout 2012 so perhaps there's something out there that works now.

I just added a load resistor from eBay. Even with error free canbusproof etc leds kept getting a message check license plate light. Not anymore.
