Hi all, well my donor rad is leaking from the 998 spi car.

can anyone help in finding a new replacement as i searched the net and the pictures dont seem same as my rad.

thing is the onyx had a 750 carbed engine rad(which was small) and the donor was same but longer i presume for better cooling

under the rad there was 2 circle cut outs for pegs to sit in and 2 cut outs on top for metal arms to sit in that had rubber bits on the end..

An original 750 rad is the same as a 999 rad, your Oynx probably had a Mk1 rad as they were much smaller.

Both of those in your links will be the same as the rad from your donor car.

Not it isn't, it is indeed smaller on the 769cc engines to that on the 999cc ones

OP fitting a bigger radiator should be ok I'd go for the ebay one myself

It's not the most noticeable of things, I only noticed after a few years of owning the 750L and 1000CL

was thinking of getting it checked out by a local rad company to see if it can be recored.

will c on saturday when i take it in and show them, might have one lying around ffor me LOL

I kinda thought twice about a new one as £50 did not feel cheap to me....No prob...if you need one it will still be here...
