My girlfriend has a 02 plate corsa C and was brought a set of alloys for Xmas, I put these on her car at the weekend and discovered the hub isn't the same size but the bolts line up correct so just put them on with the bolts, isit dangerous and should I get hub adapters for them? Or will it be ok?

What you actually need are called spigot rings,bands of plastic that make up the difference between the wheel and the hub,and whilst a lot of people don't use them,i would be careful about driving without them.

Cheers for the reply, how would I find out what size I need? The wheels were on a Renault Laguna before if that helps

It'll take a bit of googling !,if they're aftermarket wheels you need to search for either the makers info or do a search for **** wheels to corsa spigot rings,if they're Renault wheels you need to search for the details of the wheels and then search again from there.Just found this site,they should do something for you,http://www.wheelfittingsolutions.co.uk/.

Ancient post now, but anyone with a lathe should be able to turn them up from stainless or aluminium.

Point is that the centre bore actually takes the weight of the car.
