Had a Y10 Turbo when I worked at a Lancia dealer. It was a bit like a schizophrenic Jack Russel. It would accelerate slower than a Uno with the non-turbo 1050 engine but when the turbo cut in it would go off like there was no tomorrow. I would certainly see off XR3s and the like. In higher gears though it would show some real maturity as it was very well behaved and could be quick both on the Motorway and cross country. Once held off an Alfa GTV6 up to 100 up hill towards Hartshead Moor services on the M62 after joining from the M606. Never actually seen a 4X4 in the flesh though.

The 4x4 y10 used the FIRE engine and had similar mechanicals to the panda 4x4, although it was never officially imported to the UK. Trevor's "Yntegrale" actually has delta integrale running gear on a custom chassis (with custom body panels too!). Absolutely incredible!!
