Hi all. Can anyone help.
Yesterday i went to put my 04 multipla into reverse and the car jolted and stalled. Then the clutch pedal went slack and moved down to the floor. After investigating, removing airfilter box and battery tray i descovered the plastic punger arm on the slave sylinder had snapped. Firstly has anyone had this happen and what might of caused this. Im lucky in having a spare car so have fitted tha fresh sylinder and arm, however can someone please advise me on bleeding the system as there is no bleed nut on the slave thanks daz

There is a lot of information on clutch bleeding on multipla on the forum.
Try using the Search function on pc or laptop.
If you hadn't already changed slave cylinder I would have suggested just changing the push rod which snapped.
If yours is diesel there is an extra bleed point in the fluid line near bulk head before it heads down below battery tray. Hard to get to so try bleeding at slave first.
To bleed original slave cylinder that doesn't have bleed nipple remove pipe retaining clip and pull pipe out a small amount to bleed out air.
Keep fluid reservoir topped up at all times , do not allow air in at master cylinder , if you do things get very boring .

PS I had good result by letting it bleed out under gravity (no pedal pumping) for a good while , just keep reservoir full at all times.

These systems are a complete mare to bleed. I had issues bleeding a mini clutch recently and thought I would try that fix the next time I had issues with a Multipla. Try compressing the cylinder completely before bleeding and then slowly release once bled
 
The plastic rod is outside of the slave. If you replace just the rod you don't need to bleed the system. I don't think you can buy the rod separately but luckily I have a spare one you can have. I'm near Preston if you want to collect it or I can post it to you.
