Glad my 500 has a sunroof to let the light in on these dark days!

It's a favourite feature of mine in our 500L; had a lift in a mate's newish C Class Merc the other day; all kitted out in black with black seats, black headlining, black everything really... Quite depressing really, felt small and cramped and a bit like sitting in a coal scuttle.

Exactly how I feel getting into a car with no clear ceiling - I know soft tops are the craze but they ain't half cold in winter when they are down

i just hope the sunblind doesn't come down one day (as it has happened to some owners), or the roof cracks one day (the glass for the smaller 500 is said to cost 1200 Euro alone)
