i assume you have a Uconnect 5 radio ? Seems you are right, the device seems not to support traffic alert ... strange ...

I have 500L 2013 model with Uconnect5 (no satnav). Under "Settings" - "Radio" - "Traffic Announcements" - "ON" you can enable Traffic-Announcements. Even if you stream music over bluetooth, once a traffic alert happens the source automatically switches to radio (you can skip the alert by pressing the cross sign in the left bottom corner).

Had my 500L nearly a year and only just found out how to activate traffic alerts from this thread!!!!

Now realise that the traffic alerts are just the radio announcements!

I had expected to see traffic information shown on the SatNav screen.

Alerts only bring up radio announcements which are not much use for route planning to avoid delays......

Is there any way that traffic information can be shown on the satnav?
