Very very excited!

The GP seems to collect dirt like no other car, its the rear that is the worst! I end up cleaning mine at least once a week if not twice! (until it's too cold to do so!) (n)

Your telling me! I washed it yesterday and it rained all day today :(

How's the car keeping dude, get that grill yet ?.....

Bought it on the 18th from Car Audio & Security and they are having stock problems, so I am STILL waiting for it :(
Just purchased my plasti-dip aswell :)

I am very confused on what wheels to get though as I am putting coilovers on him in January when my insurance is up for renewal.

Any ideas?

Will keep everyone updated when grill and plasti-dip arrive :worship:

Dont worry buddy, i rang them after a week and a half, no-one is fooling about with my money :)

Quick (small) update!

Taken the tags off the back of the car and smoothed up, thought i would share some photos of him clean and in the day light.

About to plasti dip this week and getting some new rims but undecided which to get as I am dropping the mutha f***er in january.

PEACE :slayer:

I noticed you say 'him' any reason for being a male car? Iv'e always thought of cars being girls, won't catch me giving a male car some TLC! lol

Ahhhh

Hahaha, its named after my great granddad Ernie.
If you listen to the video at the top of the post by auto trader - it explains why I named my car after my great granddad.

He used to build cars in his back garden and couldn't get the car out of the garden, so had to pull all the neighbors fences down to get them out :)

Never met him but he was my Dads hero and he sounded like an absolute legend.
I see give my car a good clean, like buying my great granddad a new jumper or slippers... weird I know!
But not giving it the TLC like a women, more of a man love respect thing.

Haha I like that! (y) I remember reading something about a man who built a kit car or something in his front room and completed it to find that he couldn't get it outside! haha

Was just thinking about it the other day as my gran asked if my car was a boy or a girl lol

UPDATE!!!!

So finally got my plasti dip and got impatient waiting for my badge less grill, I decided to learn my way around the car and do it up a little.

Took my about 4 hours to get the front bumper off to get my grill out (caraudio are delivering my badge less tomorrow) because all the tight engine bay to the right of the engine.

Hope you like the results :)
