Good day good people

I've been "trolling" the forum for over 6 months now trying to convince myself that my love fiat is of no waste.
There's a notion here in South Africa that Fiats are not a reliable brand of cars. I've had to explain myself over and over again as to why I should go for other "reliable" brands.

Proud to say I'm to be the owner of a Linea 1.4 emotion as from tomorrow, 17 Aug 2012. It unfortunately is my first purchase and everyone's been discouraging as much they can against a Fiat.

With your help, I'm gonna show them all that Fiat is the best ride.

with that said:
hello good people, I hope we have a wonderful road together.

Hello hello.
Nicest Newb post I've read for a while.
Welcome to FF.
To be honest, Fiats are unreliable, tempremental and a money pit. Having said that though, there's something about them that makes them a joy to drive and love to own.
Enjoy
Ta

Hi basicgerm, you and I are in the same boat (and the same country). I am getting my bravo next week. Thumbs crossed I can prove everyone wrong.

Best of luck with your Fiat experience!

Hi Folks,
This car is a joy! damn... I bought it 350km from my place, Nelspruit. I flew there and drove it back - what a joy. Luckily there was fog and a bit of drizzles so I got to experience the use of Fog lamps from the word go :) Being a 1.4 gives it some limits I must say - going uphill becomes a bit of a mission but nothing to write home about. The comfortability and technology is outstanding. WOW! what a car.

Already turning heads. And you get an awesome feeling when folks are checking your ride out, yeah!

decypha - I see you're in Jozi. Looks like we'll drive the mile together, lol
Im around PTA.

Awesome!! I took delivery of mine too! I love it in its entirety. Mine is a Maserati Blue Fiat Bravo - it has been joy all the way so far!
