So I have a 2005 Multipla 1.6 16v on LPG with 104k on the clock. Starts superbly, runs superbly until hot then it usually wont tickover and seems very down on power, doesn't seem to want to rev over 4000 rpm when driving either. Tried the usual cleaning, checking for broken wires etc even changed the crank sensor. It has come gradually over the last couple of weeks. There is a take to garage message on the LCD screen but this has always been lit and is common on LPG equipped cars, no codes are coming up either, so far. Is there xsome sort of factory reset I can do or any other things that could be wrong?

hi,:)

is it factory LPG , or aftermarket..?

does sound like it's not adjusting to temp correctly,
get the stored codes read ( that's on the screen);)

It's an aftermarket LPG system, Stacko, and has been on since virtually new, runs the same on LPG and petrol, no codes on the screen, thought I mentioned that.

the vehicle is seeing something - hence the message,

get it coupled up to a decent code reading / diagnostic system , that will give values for sensors.

( if it tells you air temp is 25'c , but coolant temp is ZERO.. you'll know something is amiss)

it could well be a sensor is failing - or it's wiring is impaired, :(

EDIT - "factory reset" ? ,
YES - a phonic wheel relearn - MultiECUScan is great for this kind of thing.

It has been on diagnostics and nothing has shown up. How do you do a re-learn? I took the battery of yesterday and will be putting it back tomorrow, start and tickover for 5 minutes, turn of then a gentle run for a while
