Has anyone changed this switch? Mine is playing up on left indicator. Sometimes you have to indicate right first. (Identical symptoms to a thread from 2013). Does the switch from a Mk1 fit a Mk2? From the look of things I have to remove the steering wheel first.

Got a feeling this isn't only the switch that giving you prob's.

Did you check the relays already, that'd be my first port of call.

Consider this, the switch only tells the signal which way to go - maybe the relay isn't resuming it's neutral position?

If it is the switch, and I can't think how it can be, go to the wreckers and try another, it may be a cheaper way out.

if you need one, I'm breaking a Multipla, you can have this one cheap + postage, unless you live near Wolves and you can pick it up.

Thanks. I squirted a good quantity of switch cleaner around the indicator switch last week and it seems to have solved the problem for a while. I live in Gloucester and work in Edgbaston so not too far from Wolverhampton.
