Hi folks.

I've bought another loser-cruiser.

120 Diesel, '06 plate in (I think 'Arancia Old Batik' - quite a rare colour).

I got this one because it was very cheap - runs roughly on startup AND I love the colour.

Dodgy injectors have been diagnosed as the reason for rough running on startup.

Does anyone have experience in changing injectors? What I really mean is the various part numbers on the Bosch injectors. There are lots of early ones on eBay (no-one buys new ones at 400 quid each do they?), but I've not yet seen my pat number (0445110276).

What do you think? Can I sling in any old Multipla diesel injector?

Yaaaayyyy!! :D(y):D(y):D:slayer: Welcome back to the fold! Old habits die hard.

Nice colour too. Almost makes the squarenose look nice

If it's a Multijet (JTD-m) motor - and it probably is - then you won't be able to use any of the injectors from the older Multipla JTD's, JTD-m injectors are coded to the ECU; JTD ones aren't.

Keep an eye on ebay, as bargain ones do come up from time to time. I've got a brand new (not recon'd) set of four genuine Bosch JTD injectors wrapped up in a box in my garage, bought on ebay for £300.

I bought 4 for my multi(a 2003) off a alfa engine for 50 quid...going perfect since!!

As someone earlier said the 120BHP engine needs to be recoded i believe...mine were just swap out...got a lend of injector remover tool and a yoke for cleaning the bores from a mate and had the job done in about 2 hours, they can be stubbborn to hget out with a remover tool.

Marty.
