Our 03 1.9 Diesel Multipla needs a replacement Throttle Position Sensor (only working to 15%!).

Having called a load of breakers yards, one place has one that came off a Scudo Diesel, and another from another Fiat Diesel (can't remember which).

He has asked me to take the Position Sensor off our car so we can compare it to the one he has BUT I need to know if the parts are the same???

The parts he has have various numbers on it, but no single identifiable part number -
Can anyone tell me where I can find the part number of the Throttle Position Sensor for our 1.9 (03) Diesel Multipla?

Is the part the same as the Scudo Diesel?!

Please help - no idea how to remove the Throttle Pos Sensor to compare it - and even less idea how to put it back...

They almost always have Multiplas in for breaking and know their way around them well.

I would suggest that you check the wiring connection for your existing TPS before you replace it though. Very often, the problem is with a bad connection at the connector (usually it's white, under the dashboard on the passenger side - you can trace it across from the drivers foot well) and can be sorted out just by pulling it apart and cleaning it.
