Panda 2012+ Panda 85 Lounge, Grigio Argento (Metallizzato)

Introduction

Today i bought a replacement for my "total lost" Panda 403 Turquoise.
It's a Panda 85 Lounge from november 2012 with a little over 28.000 km on the clock, it has all the nice extra's.
Some changes will be done i due Time.
I will collect it in two weeks time, later more. :D
Of course they will as the unsprung weight has gone up. Ideally you need the lightest but stiff alloys you can get but larger tyres of course offset the lightness the bigger the wheel. I'm pretty sure the Italians got the compromise spot on with 15 inch alloys and 185/55-15 I find the handling and general roadholding excellent on my car

Yes, i agree. :D
That is most likely the reason why there is not a 16" factory wheel option. ;)

Nothing wrong with the driving fun and way it corners and sticks to the road with my 16". The Panda just feels so planted since the change.
The wider tyres and increased off set you where running may also be a part that spoils the fun.
The original 15" alloys would also be good without the perfect grips and some descent tyres in stead. They probably add a little more comfort compared to my current set up due to the higher tyre.
But as long as the red O.Z. keep looking nice they will stay on.

More comfort with 15" is 100% certain, i noticed that difference when i moved from my 15" winter wheels back to 16" summer wheels.

Nicely done! Still not a big fan of the steelies but that's just a mather of taste. What's in the boot?
I did like these steel wheels on the old 100hp that attended viva Zeelanda.

I really liked the extra lowering at the rear by extra load. :D
So i did this Photoshop to see how it would look when the front got adjusted the rear lowering.
And i must say i think it looks great.
The only way to "Stance" the Panda like that is with a 3K custom developed and made ARC Coilover kit by Intrax. :(
To much money to spend on Custom Panda suspension IMHO. ;)

Load lowered at the rear and virtual lowered at the front. :D
