That's interesting news. With only the Abarth 500 and Punto Evo (which must be nearing the end of it's production run), it seems an unusual time to expand the dealer network (another new one is opening in Scotland I believe). However, I think Fiat are trying to put several of their brands under one roof to help compensate for the small model ranges of Abarth, Alfa and Chrysler.
It does make you wonder if the Alfa Spider which was to be built alongside the new Mazda MX-5 is to become an Abarth/Fiat instead, as reported by some magazines.
Of course it might just be that Clemo was sourced to replace the gap left in the network by Bauer Millet in Manchester giving up their Alfa & Abarth franchises.
