can anyone help i've just bought a 2001 seicento sporting and when i put it on full lock either way i get a like creeking noise from the passenger side and also when i'm going over bumps any clues what it may be ??and also around 50 mph i get a rumbling/vibration from the same side??

I had this with my old punto, but i did it myself to that car. It happened after i took a hump-back bridge a little to quickly, and after that full lock gave me a creeking sound, that really didnt sound good. My only assumption was it to do with the drive shaft, or something similar. Best way is take it to a garage to get a professional opinion.

If you bought the car from a garage/dealer take it back, they HAVE to fix it. If you bought it privately then you are fully within your rights to demand a refund, as you've been sold a car that is not fit to be driven. You have rights, use them if the car isnt road legal.

my best bet would be that a ball joints on its way out. someone else on the forum recently had this problem. so check the ball joints first

cheers it was the ball joint now the when i turn right at speed i get a vibration through the left front i got this before the ball joint being replaced and at speed in a straight line vibration again at 40/45 then 55 and on wards but when i change gear it stops and when i want to gain more speed it does it any clues anyone?

Sounds like a drive shaft/ cv joint knocking out to me or possible wheel bearing but you would hear the bearing grumbling. try jacking it up turn the steering wheel full lock to which ever side is noisy the climb underneath grab the shaft and see if there is much play move it in and out the cv joint on the wheel and try gently turning the wheel while moving the shaft list for a nasty clunk/ crunching noise.

Drive slowly on full lock in each direction. Clicking from a wheel means the CV joint is failing.

Rattles that affect the steering are almost certainly the steering track-rod ends or suspension ball joints.

Vibration that gets worse at speed is wheel balance. Worse at low speed but eases off above 50 could be a buckled wheel or tyre bulge. If you feel it through the seat its a back wheel. Through steering its a front.

Road type noise that is loudest between 40 & 50 might be a wheel bearing.

SIM70 has of course checked the wheel bolts are tight. Not that we need to ask. ;)
