I did that in Ju-On the original Japanese Ring.

I let my hair down and put it in the front of my face, the screen had only 6 people in it. me and 2 friends and 3 others, I made the scary sounds and the others threw their popcorn way up into the air, I was in stiches laughin and the people aI scared called me a bastard and said I was really terrible
