i've spent ages looking for downloading loads and absolutley loads of satnav apps on my phone and tablet but finally i found one that is the mutts nutts it's called waze off google play store (tottally free which makes it even better) , i tried it out with my tomtom for comparrison and there is absolutey no difference in between them so i've sold the tomtom to my brother for £50 and still got a brilliant satnav so if you're looking for one give it a try out you might be immpressed with it , i know i am :)
sorry i've just saw the satnav section perhaps someone could move this to the relevant area please , thanks

I like Waze...keep forgetting about it though lol

Not had any co-pilots capable of making use of it properly.

Haven't Google bought it?
I noticed that Maps has a slightly more Waze-y look to it?
(Certainly on the S5 in Driving Mode - which doesn't let you change the sat nav app :()

Anyone tried usig S-Voice to open the app?
I had to spell the app name before it recognised it. Then the phone tried to correct my pronunciation...to Waz-uh
There was me thinking it was "ways" lol

We have used Waze (didn't realise Google had bought them) it's excellent value for money (ie Free!).

If you Bluetooth your phone to your car stereo (Uconnect) the direction announcements break into the music and come over the car speakers which is useful because they are sometimes quite hard to hear in a car.

Its certainly worth trying before buying a dedicated sat nav, which admittedly we use in the main though.
