LOL Daz, you've been watching Crocodile Dundee too much. You're far more likely to encounter wildlife in the UK than you are in Australia. We have on occasions, had foxes, hedgehogs and frogs in our front/back gardens. Back in Australia we've had a few lizard type things (which are protected by law) which the dogs usually kill pretty quickly :eek::(

Wildlife that you're likely to encounter in my backyard: Spiders, rabbits, a couple of hawks, a fox every now and then. All sorts of birds too. No crocodiles, rarely snakes, no emus or kangaroos or koalas. Sorry to burst your bubble...

Our backyard is completely enclosed so anything that got in either had to fly in, get through the garage door if it was open or through a small gap in the fence. There is surprisingly little native wildlife in suburban Australia compared to the UK. We did have a drop bear problem a few years back though :eek:
