Could it be also the pressure switch ?
- pump activates when you open door and fill the buffer
- pump stop when the pressure is reached
If the pressure sensor doesn't work correctly, the pump may keep on running, finally getting the fuse to blow, as it is supposed to do to protect the pump...
Fuses are there for a good reason, blown fuse usually indicate a (potential) failure, needs to be investigated. And obviously, one have to respect the fuse rating !!
