we got our local mechanic out to erase both keys and clear the fault codes and then re programme the keys with the spare having a transponder in it. Our whole ecu was replaced and it didn't cost to much. Looking around 300£ tops. Or engine didn't even make a start sound. But it did show the case with padlock
