I had to change the battery in my GP and noticed that the earth connection has a crappy plastic clip instead of a bolt (I assume this is standard?). Putting the new battery in and reattaching the leads, the clip on the earth lead doesn't tighten..

I couldn't really see a way of adjusting it. Does anybody have any suggestions to make it tighter? I can pull the lead off pretty easily at the moment.

with it released have you tapped it down a bit onto the battery terminal before tightening?
