Yep can't agree more. Loved my mk2. If I had the money I would buy another one in a heartbeat just to drive every now and again.
Maybe that's a plan for the future...... mk2...... as a project car......

So to add to the eBay bargains I've got today I managed to get hold of these for £100!
They go for about £400 new. These have never actually been on a car, guy wrote his off before he could put them on.
Anyway the headlights have LED DRL's as well as LED indicators. Looks like they might actually have the lenses for HID's. The rears again have LED indicators and a few other bits and pieces. I'll have them on the car in a couple of weeks after I've finished my final uni exams. I'll post some pictures up then!

I actually only wanted the rears! The headlights are just a bonus. If they steam up ill just take them off!
