Looking for some help,
Had my GP for less than a week and loaded a fair few songs onto the USB drive to use in the media system, however the problems lie with the following:
- Every song plays twice so constantly having to skip once listened to one song,
- It seems to randomise the songs but only seems to play about 10-15 of them but then randomly will throw one NOT in the 15 been played in but then back to the same old
Anyone have this problem, fixed this problem somehow?

Thanks in advance!

Did you run it through the Blue&me program to sort it before using, because when I do that it creates a second copy which would explain the double play, not had the repeat thing but I very rarely use random play.

Sorry to sound stupid but where are the settings for the loop/shuffle etc?

Yeah got voice control will have a go later, still learning how to use it
Thanks

Thanks very much, will have a go soon and let you know.

Had a play with the settings and managed to stop the sings been played twice but still not a large selection of songs? There is still the usual 15songs?

No but checked it by plugging into laptop and they are there? X

I think there's a "play by album" mode, that could be the culprit if those fifteen songs are from the same album (or saved/named in a way equivalent to the same album).

There is a manual in the downloads section.

The Blue&Me has a nightmare displaying some characters that are in some song names and metadata. You can use this tool to rename your songs http://www.spoelstrait.nl/BluMeUSB/ and they will show up.
Or you can find the supported characters, and rename them yourself :)

Ahh don't really want to download something which is unofficial and quotes "not responsible for any damage caused by using this software" bit risky for a car!
I will try to look at the titles which are on the USB and try to work it out.
Thanks for advice.

It's most likely because some songs are in the wrong formats. Fiat only made the USB slot able to read MP3. Not MP4 or ACC audio. So plug it into a laptop and change the format, this should make them all appear.

I just got a aftermarket headunit with USB input that plays anything now though.

Goodluck
