Quick, possibly odd question (new to GP, so forgive me) before i start replacing bulbs and taking things apart...

Got out to have a fag whilst waiting on someone @ train station last night and I happened to walk round the back of the car and noticed that I only have 3 tail lights (see pic) - is this normal, or are there supposed to be 4 (I assume 4) ?

I don't have the dash warning light telling me a bulb is out... unless that bulb is out too ?

Also, if i DO have a tail light out... what bulb do i need, and how easy is it to replace ?

If so, you're right that's not normal. There should be 2 lights both sides for sidelights, and from memory the bottom 2 double as brake lights.

Great, thanks guys. So the upper section is just a single bulb then, rather than the dual Tail/Brake light bulb ?

I've not looked at my bulbs TBH, but functionally yes - the top 2 are just side lights. The bottom 2 are side light / brake light.

From memory its a single pin 5 watt bulb (earthed via shroud)

good call john my mistake bloody websites showing wrong data used to go and grab my handbook but since the evo has led's it wont show a tail bulb


anyhow scoured my hard drive and found the pdf manual your right
