I've just bought a new radio for my Punto, just wondering if there was a special way of getting the original one out or do i just use those metal strips like you do on other radios?

no bolder , nothing special just two pull pins you need off ebay £1.49p or go to halfords they have them . just gently push them in the four small holes and it will pop out . just slide it towards you then .... remember there is a ariel lead on the right side at the back,,............. and the left side is the power lead... hope this helps iamjester.

Don't even have to buy the removals pins, can just use a bent wire coat hanger
