I've just bought myself a new stereo along with a sub & amp. The stereo has the steering control optional but what will i need in order to hook it up to my new stereo? Anyone help would be much appreciated!

Will need the interface lead but these are relativley expensive. Try Car audio security or Volxstu as he knows all this stuff. But look in the search bar as this has been covered a lot!

Just did this a few weeks ago with a Blaupunkt head unit and would recommend the Connects2 adapter.

Initally I tried the Autoleads adapter but the track skip functions didn't work with it, also it didn't support the head unit display dimming fuction. The Connects2 adapter is working 100% and supports dimming too.

I got the Connects2 adapter from Dynamic Sounds, part # CTSFA004.

Why is the connects2 preferred over the autolead? Is connects2 better or what? can someone explain the difference between the two?

... one works properly... one doesn't
