Red badges Grandes and back lights to the steering wheel contolls

Hello,

I've just imformed the Grandes with red badges have a non working back lights to the steering wheel contolls
Can anybody confirm it? I have asked many owners and 95% of them told me it's true. On the blue logos it's lighting well.

I am not quite sure what you mean. By red logo puntos i assume you mean sporting models and by blue you mean all the other models ??? Or do you mean the puntos with the new red fiat badge?

By steering wheel lighting i am assuming you mean the back lights to the steering wheel controlls?

If you do mean this, i have a sporting with the new red badges and mine are fine, i have heard no other complaints on this forum either.

Hello,

not the sporting but the new badge's Grandes. And yes my queestion is about the back light of the multifunctional wheel. Sorry I didn't know exatly the names but u are right.
So I have informed many people who has the new badge's Grandes have no back back light to the steering wheel controlls. We didn't know is it a Fiat decision or simly some manufacturing problem :-s

I am guessing you are not in the UK and it wouldnt surprise me to hear that a GP sold in another country has subtle differences from UK spec cars.

as sledge states, it might be due to the fact your is not a UK model. I can confirm that i have red badges and i DO have lights on the steering wheel. T-JET GPS also has red badges, perhaps he will conform whether he has the lights or not???

Oh and you cant edit the topic name (admins might be able to)

No, we live in Hungary! And we have investigated a little. Some red badge's steering wheels were opened and the serive told they haven't got wires for the back light originally! How decision is it from Fiat? And why? On the Hungary Grande forum only 1 owner has a working back light of reg badges Grande... Interesting

Thank God I have a GP in Hungary with the old, blue badge. ;) (Grande Gregorio from TotalCar.hu)
