Panda (Classic) My new Panda

Introduction

Hi folks, after many years of mucking about with Alfas i finally picked myself up the Panda I always wanted....

She's quite charming wee thing, a blue 1.0 CLX and only has 66k on the clock.

She's in pretty good nick and surprisingly has had no advisories on the last 2 MOTs, which is a bonus!

I'm going to need to do a couple of things, namely fit some decent speakers somewhere (probably going to make some pods to slot into the the dash pocket and a couple to go in the boot). I do have a decent head unit and speakers from my 146Ti that I just scrapped, have fitted the head unit temporarily, but the existing speakers which are sitting in the dash are rubbish. She doesn't have an aerial for the radio, can i still get an original telescopic style one from Fiat? If so, where would it normally go and do I need to drill a hole somewhere?

My horn isn't working either, but that's not rocket science, ha ha.

Another thing I'd be keen to try is to install electric windows, anyone got any info on this?

I'm also needing to sort the windscreen washers and investigate why the injector light is on, hopefully a new lambda will sort it, seems to be driving fine anyway. But I reckon it's all fairly easy stuff.

I do have some lovely leather Alfa GTV front seats, which I might put in there in the future, but only if it can be done whilst retaining the existing seat rails, we'll see how I feel after I get the rest of the stuff done.

Since most of my experience is with much bigger engines I'm surprised that I find this such good fun to drive and the car is pretty pokey for it's size. Would anyone be able to suggest an option for upgrading the suspension though? looking for a smoother ride for motorw,ay speeds, are there uprated springs/dampers or perhaps even coilovers I could use to achieve this?

I'm not interested in being a boy racer anymore, so probably won't do an engine swap, which was always my plan when I finally got a Panda, but I'd love to get my hands dirty with some trick engineering, especially if it adds a bit more comfort to the journey. Any suggestions welcome :)
