Hi - have just joined the forum - I just added this question under previous thread but thought maybe I should have created a new thread instead....

I'm looking to import a new LHD Ducato van conversion very shortly (2016 model).

The headlight & speedo replacement seem straightforward but does anyone know whether the current Ducato van comes with 2 rear fog lights or just one on the left? I've searched on the web but not found a definitive answer. It seems a bit of headache to replace and rewire if I need to add a fog light on the right hand side.

Pic of rear cluster attached

Any help would be gratefully received.

may come with only 1 but should be able to change it over

May i ask what may be seen as a silly question to some but here in oz we dont have rear fog lamps are they a different colour or position to the tail lamps just curious about what they are is all Cheers Adam

Rear fog lights are "high-intensity" (i.e. brighter than tail lights) red rear marker lights to be used only in poor visibility.

Either one or two can be fitted at the rear; if one it must be either central or the extreme offside (hence the query from the op, as the offside is the "other side" on a LHD vehicle); if two, they should be fitted at both rear extremes.

The X/290 has two, and by reference to the picture above are located in the red portion of the rear light cluster immediately below the clear bit.

Don't you have fog down under?:D

They are rated at 21 watts the same as the rear brake lights!
