hello all
just joined this forum
purchased a new ducato x290 a couple of weeks back to convert to a camper and stuck at the first stage:confused:
trying to install a clifford alarm system and cant locate any wiring with this can bus system:confused:
not going to connect into central locking but does anyone know where i can pick up the indicator wires and wires from each door open signal
my background is bmw auto electrician many years back pre canbus systems and now an electrical engineer so once i can find the wires it should all be good

heres hoping.......:)

Hi
I watched for some of the time, when my canbus (Gemini) alarm system was installed. As far as I can remember the indicator wire which was used was at the back of the hazard switch (Violet-Orange) in the middle of the dashboard.

If you have a radio / sat nav you can pick it up off the back of that. I fitted my alarm under the front top box. Remove screws and the bottom half lifts out leaving a nice space for the alarm. It's also near the radio / sat nav which has all the wires near by. The indicator feeds are down in the fuse box by your right knee. The alarm I fitted had two wires one for left and one for right.
