Hi guys can someone advise me how to adjust the clutch on a Fiat Ducato 2007 2.2.
Can it be done on the street or does it need to go into a garage?
Thanks

2007 was the "Change over year" from X230 to X250 ....Is not the Clutch on an X250 Hydraulic (& therefore NON adjustable) .... I could be wrong I can never remember which set up has which Clutch 2.2 / 2.3 / 3.0.......

It's the X250. Does that mean I have to take it to a garage?

I would say so, definately hydraulic. Is it slipping or not dissengaging?

I will tell you Wilkes I have only just had mine done on my Citroen Relay X250 Motorhome in Oct 2014..

i had my Clutch Bearing, Thrust Bearing & Pressure plate + the Dual Mass flywheel (NO SENSE in replacing the Clutch WITHOUT doing the Dual Mass Flywheel at the SAME TIME) & this will REALLY make you "Wince" ......................

Total Cost = £1375.00 <<<<<<<<<<<< & THAT was at "Mates Rates" at the local Merc Garage after Midnight Ect ect .....

You Gotta budget AT LEAST £1500 to £1750 (Unless you "Know" someone with a Garage & A LOT OF EXPERIENCE in working on Engines) ....

Sorry I dont wanna upset yer but HONESTLY those ARE THE FACTS of this !!!!

Looking at it realistically IF (& its a BIG "IF") the Dual Mass is OK then £400 to £500 quid & yer sorted ......
it MAYBE that the Dual Mass flywheel is the cause of this if so .. just to BUY the Dual Mass flywheel alone (WITHOUT installation) will set you back over £500 !!!!.....

with Mine I wanted the Dual Mass taken out & a "Solid" flywheel fitted & the ass fell outta my trousers when I found out it was MORE that a Dual Mass .. (£495 fer Dual Mass & £675 fer a "solid" flywheel ......
