I'm in the process of buying an old fiat motorhome (1997) and have done a HPI check, put in the reg no. and VIN, hpi says the vin is incorrect.
Can anyone check please (Ford used to be able to put vin or reg into their parts system and it would show all the info) the VIN written down by the present owner is ZFA2300005251944.
Any help would be most appreciated, as you can imagine, a very expensive purchase!

VIN should be ZFA followed by 14 digits, you've only put 13.

Assuming you've missed a zero, ZFA23000005251944 is a Ducato with 2.5 TD engine no. 2203817, built on 14th February 1996.
